Vendor Closeout Gate

Vendor Closeout Gate

A written record of who could remote into the site, and whether that path is still open.

The problem

Vendor VPNs and jump-box accounts often stay live after the job ends. Reviewers ask for proof that unused access was closed.

What you receive

  • Vendor remote-path list
  • Standing vs time-limited access
  • MFA yes or no
  • Closeout record

How we work

No logins to your VPN. No access to vendor systems. You or your IT lead export the current remote-user list or walk us through it on a call. We write the register. You keep every password.

After the packet

IT uses the list to disable stale accounts. You attach the closeout page to insurance or an audit request. Benefit: unused vendor doors are visible, and you have a dated record that you reviewed them.

What others lose without this

Unused vendor logins are a common path into plant and utility networks after the job ends. Operators who never close them keep that door open. This register is how you find those paths and shut them before someone else uses them.
