Building BMS Evidence

Building BMS Evidence

A written inventory of building control systems and who can reach them.

The problem

HVAC, access control, elevators, and power monitoring sit on networks that often touch tenant or office IT. Vendors keep standing remote access. Owners, lenders, and insurers ask for a list. Most buildings have none.

What you receive

  • Building systems inventory
  • Vendor remote-access list
  • Hardening checklist with gaps
  • One-page owner file for insurers and lenders

How we work

No logins to the BMS or tenant networks. We do not scan live controls. Your facilities lead or integrator walks us through the systems and exports what they already have. We write the file.

After the packet

Facilities closes stale vendor access and works the checklist. Asset management attaches the owner file to insurance or due diligence. Benefit: you can answer what controls the building and who can get in.

What others lose without this

Building control systems are a known path into tenant networks and a growing insurance question. Owners without a list find out during a claim or a sale. The evidence file is how you get ahead of it.
